Year 5 Visit to Liverpool World Museum & St George’s Hall

As part of our topic work and to support our science lessons we will be taking the children on an educational visit to the Planetarium at the Liverpool World Museum and also to St George’s Hall to visit the jail and courtroom for our topic on crime and punishment.

The children will be travelling by train and will be leaving school at approximately 9.15am to walk to Green Lane station.  We will be having lunch whilst we are out and returning to school, by train, and plan to arrive back at school at approximately 3.00pm. Your child will need a packed lunch in a labelled plastic bag.  Please ensure all contents are disposable (no glass bottles please).  If your child is entitled to a free school meal and you would like the kitchen to prepare a packed lunch for them, please indicate this on the attached slip (this must be returned by Friday 11^th October).

Your child should come into school in their school uniform to include sensible shoes and a coat please.
