Year 3 Victorian Day – Thursday 14^th July

As part of our Victorian topic, the children will be taking part in a Victorian School Day on Thursday 14^th July.  During the day they will be experiencing what it was like to be a child at school during Victorian times.  They will be taking part in a number of activities including drills, dictation and even a Punch and Judy puppet show. To make the experience more authentic we are inviting children to come to school dressed in Victorian clothing.  Please don’t go to any expense, a flat cap and an apron will do nicely.  If children do not wish to dress up they should come to school in their normal school uniform.

As we are asking an outside company to perform the Punch and Judy show, we are asking for a £2.50 donation via Parent Pay. This will also include an ice lolly to enjoy whilst watching the performance.
