Work for Friday 10th January

Good morning Year 4! We hope you’re keeping safe and warm ❄️
1. We would like you to write a set of instructions titled ‘How to Build a Snowman’. You will need to number your steps and use fronted adverbials and conjunctions.
 2. Choose a country in Europe and create a fact file about it. This could include its flag, population, countries it borders, capital cities etc.
 3. Please continue to practise your times tables on TT Rockstars and Purple Mash (especially your 8s and 12s!)

Work for Thursday 9th January

Year 4 – next week in Literacy we will be writing a diary as Edward Tulane.

Your task today is to write a diary extract about our snowy days this week! You will need to include your thoughts and feelings as well as a summary of activities you have done. You may have stayed at home and watched a movie all nice and warm, you may have made a snowman or even had a snowball fight! You will need go include fronted adverbials, emotion words and any other ambitious vocabulary you can. We can’t wait to hear all about it!

 

For Maths could you practice your times tables on TT Rockstars.

PE kits will be provided and kept in school. We just ask that a named pair of pumps are sent in.

 

Toast money (50 pence per week) should be paid on parent pay at the beginning of each half term.

 

We will be sending out newsletters, letters and information regularly on the Parent Info app, please make sure you have downloaded this from your app store.
