“The children at Mersey Park Primary School taking part in Bikeability were all very well behaved, attentive and respectful. It was a pleasure to teach them. They are a credit to the school”

“All the classes showed a great sense of community, helping each other and making sure no one was left out. They all had a great understanding of the 5 British Values and discussed them with their peers”

“It has been a pleasure to work with the Year 6 students of Mersey Park Primary, from the moment they entered our workshop we were impressed with their behaviour as they patiently waited for the session to begin. During the session they showed confidence through their willingness to contribute their ideas, both to peers and aloud to the room. Throughout the activities they demonstrated vital sociable skills such as teamwork and communication, and got along with the tasks very well in their groups. Through trickier parts of the workshop, we were impressed with their problem-solving skills and continued resilience as they worked hard to solve the rollercoaster building!

Thank you to all the Year 6 students for taking part in our workshop, you have been a credit to your school!”

“I meant to send this email on Friday, but I just wanted to shout out the teachers and pupils who were on the same train as me back from London on Thursday evening.

It made my journey fly by. The children were so lovely (and funny) and the way the teachers interacted with them was amazing to listen to.

Credit to themselves and the school (without being patronising).

They then had to deal with the trains being off from Liverpool so hoping they all got home safely (eventually).”

“Mersey Park had really engaged young people in our British Values workshop. They had lovely creative ideas to explore the topic. I had a lovely day running the workshops for them.”

“I always look forward to the children from Mersey Park coming to visit the park because I am met with enthusiasm and curiosity, the children are always well behaved but not in that stifled forced way, they are allowed to express their excitement perhaps when a squirrel steals the show for example, or an unexpected mini beast makes an appearance. Children from Mersey Park clearly have opportunities to enriching experiences within their school day and this shows from their presentation when visiting our park, they are encouraged to be curious, to get excited and to express themselves in a safe space, supported by staff. I love the children from Mersey Park.”
