Year 6 Conway Centre Residential Trip

As I am sure you are aware, one of the end of Year Six highlights is the residential trip to Oaklands. Covid restrictions have meant that, for the past two years, the Year Six residential has had to be cancelled. Due to the improved situation, we are now planning the Year Six residential trip and are very confident it will be able to go ahead. There are some important changes however.

Due to the financial constraints brought about by Covid, the Oaklands Centre has now permanently closed and our planned Year Six residential trip has been switched to the Conway Centre in Anglesey.

The Conway Centre is based on the isle of Anglesey and is a residential outdoor adventure education centre that provides a range of activities for schools, youth groups, and scouts & guides.

The programme the children will participate in will include team building activities and other outdoor pursuits.
