Year 3 have been looking at different Spanish art and artists. We decided to replicate Miro’s wonderful designs using sharpies, pastels and ink to get the vibrant blues and greens. We also studied portraits using someone from our class as our inspiration. A child dressed as a Spanish flamenco dancer and we sketched and painted them. The last artist we looked at in detail was Gaudi; we worked hard to complete patterns that had a lot of different geometric shapes using pastels.
